The Partnership for Access, Collaboration, and Trust (PACT), led by the CEO Roundtable on Cancer (CEORT), aims to address healthcare disparities by improving access to cancer clinical trials in underserved communities. We build upon CEORT's proven track record of creating meaningful change through its Gold Standard accreditation program - a framework that helps organizations implement programs for cancer prevention, early detection, and high-quality care.
Our foundation is strengthened by Going4Gold, a strategic initiative supported by partners including Merck and Amgen that extends CEORT's Gold Standard accreditation to Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs) across the United States. Through Going4Gold, we've established partnerships with several institutions, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), creating a robust network focused on improving cancer prevention, care, and research in underserved communities.
PACT leverages these established relationships and community trust to advance our mission of creating a more equitable landscape in cancer clinical trials. We help our member companies meet FDA requirements for improving trial diversity, including the development and implementation of Race and Ethnicity Diversity Plans and compliance with FDORA Section 3601 requirements for Diversity Action Plans.
Our comprehensive approach includes establishing partnerships between biopharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, innovative technology partners, advocacy groups, educational institutions, and federal agencies. Through these collaborations and our extensive network of MSIs, we're creating solutions to streamline patient identification, enhance enrollment processes, and improve clinical trial accessibility while building trust in underserved communities.
